Abdessalam Alaoui
Abdessalam Alaoui is the owner and CEO of VIA Media LLC, a publishing and media company with more than 20 years of experience across media, magazines, and television. He leads the vision, publishing standards, and long-term direction of GluJoy, with publishing operations and a professional network across the United States, the MENA region, and Europe. His role is to make sure every part of the project serves one clear purpose: helping gluten-free families feel informed, welcomed, and excited to gather around food.
He is a publisher and project leader—not a physician or dietitian. For health, nutrition, and food-safety topics, GluJoy distinguishes editorial experience from professional medical expertise and seeks qualified review when it is needed.
Why GluJoy exists
No one should feel left out at the family table
A dietary restriction can change more than a shopping list. It can turn an ordinary meal into a careful calculation—and make a child or parent wonder whether there will be something safe and joyful for them, too.
GluJoy grew from a simple belief: food should create belonging, not distance. Families deserve recipes that feel generous rather than limiting, guidance that respects the seriousness of gluten-free living, and a place where questions are met with clarity instead of judgment.
That is the promise Abdessalam wants GluJoy to keep. Every recipe, guide, correction, and future expert collaboration should help someone move from uncertainty to confidence—and bring a little more ease and happiness back to the table.
The goal is not simply to remove gluten. It is to protect the feeling that everyone belongs.
GluJoy’s guiding principle
Specialist review network
The expertise GluJoy brings in
Different questions require different qualifications. When content goes beyond recipe development and into professional guidance, GluJoy seeks the appropriate independent specialist and identifies the scope of that person’s contribution.
Gluten-Free Food Safety Consultant
Supports content about label reading, cross-contact, shared kitchens, ingredient sourcing, and practical food-safety habits.
Registered Dietitian Nutrition Expert
Reviews nutrition education, dietary balance, nutrient considerations, and claims that require a credentialed clinical perspective.
Recipe Testing & Family Cooking Consultant
Tests clarity, timing, substitutions, serving guidance, and the real-world practicality of recipes for busy households.
Our transparency promise
GluJoy publishes a specialist’s name, photograph, credentials, contribution, and review date only after the engagement and permission are confirmed. We do not create fictional experts or imply medical review that did not happen. Named consultant profiles will be added here as those relationships are established.
Our editorial standards
Our full process—including authorship, sourcing, testing language, specialist review, corrections, commercial independence, and responsible use of digital tools—is published in our Editorial Policy.
Clear roles
We distinguish publishing, recipe testing, professional review, and medical advice so readers know who contributed what.
Careful sourcing
Safety and nutrition guidance should be based on reliable sources, current labels, and appropriately qualified input.
Visible corrections
When something needs clarification or correction, we review it promptly and update the content rather than hiding the issue.
